BWTON Provides Full-Stack Support for 2026 Hangzhou International Embodied Robot Scenario Application Competition

The 2026 Hangzhou International Embodied Robot Scenario Application Competition was held on May 15–16 at the Hangzhou Cloud Town International Convention and Exhibition Center. Focused on real?world scenario deployment, domestic technology verification, and industrial ecosystem co?development, the competition was officially refereed by the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center. As an official strategic partner of the competition, BWTON participated with its fully self?developed BWTON?OS, a general?purpose embodied intelligence operating system, providing the underlying technology infrastructure, simulation training, spatial intelligence modeling, cluster scheduling, and fairness assurance for all competition events, thereby promoting the high?quality development of domestic embodied intelligence with its technical strength.

At the main venue in Cloud Town, BWTON’s dedicated exhibition booth showcased the core capabilities of BWTON?OS. The robot dog on display was based on the hardware from strategic partner Unitree, equipped with BWTON’s self?developed autonomous navigation and environmental perception technologies. Capable of operating without any human intervention, it efficiently performed tasks such as venue inspection, area alerting, and dynamic patrolling, helping to secure the competition with stable and reliable performance. This demonstration fully illustrated the mature real?world deployment capabilities of domestic embodied intelligence in scenarios such as public safety and large?event support, while providing a replicable technical model for future large?scale applications in similar contexts.

At the Shuangpu Robot Testing sub?venue, BWTON opened the event with a spectacular autonomous navigation performance. Together with its strategic partner Wuba Intelligence, BWTON co?developed a high?performance autonomous navigation system. The participating robots, without any manual remote control, autonomously traversed a comprehensive obstacle course including ramps, stairs, complex terrains, waterlogged sections, and crawling segments, completing a fully autonomous parade. This marked the first time at an international robot competition’s opening ceremony in China that robots driven by a domestically developed autonomous brain performed a fully self?directed parade, vividly demonstrating the real?world deployment capability achieved through the deep integration of BWTON’s “spatial intelligence + embodied intelligence.”

As the core technology foundation of the competition, BWTON?OS adopts a new paradigm of “spatial brain commanding intelligent agents,” breaking away from the traditional limitations of “standalone, manually controlled” robots. Leveraging the uTwin spatial intelligence base, the system can build a 1:1 digital twin of the venue, enabling virtual?real synchronization, precise positioning, and global perception, seamlessly supporting full?scenario modeling and scheduling both indoors and outdoors. Through end?edge?cloud integrated intelligent scheduling, it supports unified access and command for heterogeneous robot forms, easily meeting the requirements of cluster inspection and multi?robot collaboration. With the NexSIM simulation training capability, it enables rapid algorithm iteration and seamless virtual?to?real migration, allowing various scenario applications to be verified in advance and efficiently deployed. The system also provides five standard API interfaces for navigation, obstacle avoidance, status, modeling, and motion, significantly lowering the industry’s development threshold and allowing more teams to focus on scenario innovation.

在大賽頒獎(jiǎng)典禮現(xiàn)場(chǎng),At the competition’s award ceremony, BWTON signed a pilot collaboration agreement with the Zhejiang Province Humanoid Robot Pilot Platform. Through this agreement, BWTON will further integrate into the regional industrial pilot innovation chain, working with the platform and various partners to strengthen the industrial ecosystem and pool development forces. Leveraging its full?stack technical capabilities, BWTON aims to enable the widespread adoption of embodied intelligence technology across thousands of industries.

Competitions serve as both a touchstone for technology and a starting line for industrialization. Looking ahead, BWTON will continue to break down scenario boundaries, enabling intelligent agents to make autonomous decisions and perform collaborative tasks in complex physical environments. By doing so, BWTON aims to help Hangzhou become a national innovation hub for the embodied intelligence industry and drive high?quality, innovative development of China’s embodied intelligence technologies.
